OWNERS
Family owned and run, Ismail and Betul Uslu are the owners of Agora DC and Agora Tysons. Ismail spent three years, dedicating his time and energy to improving all aspects of Agora. In 2008, he decided to take a leap of faith and became the sole owner of Agora DC. Betul left her career in banking in 2016 and has fully immersed herself in working at Agora DC and Agora Tysons. Betul focuses on private events, while Ismail concentrates more on restaurant operations and creating the whole essence and the soul of the places by bringing his culture and hospitality from Turkey.

Born and raised in Marmaris, Turkey; Executive Chef Ismet Sahin introduces us with Turkey rich cuisine and gastronomy. Ismet Chef is from the same region of Turkey as Ismail Uslu so the energy at Agora is the perfect fit. He began his journey at Agora DC and moving on, also took the responsibility of Agora DC and Tysons. With his different ventures in Turkey working with chefs at five-star hotels Ismet brought so much flavor to Agora and added a great deal of food options.
